WHO WE ARE
Stability Through Advocacy, Inc. (STAY) is a community-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Albany, Rensselaer, and Schenectady counties of New York. We provide hands-on support to individuals navigating housing instability, benefits access, and complex service systems. Our work is rooted in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach that meets people where they are.

Improving communication between tenants, landlords, and service providers.

Providing direct guidance and support with housing applications and processes.

Providing guidance and direct support with benefits applications and processes.
WHY WE EXIST
Housing instability can be preventable when people have the right support. STAY works to remove barriers that place individuals at risk of losing housing, especially those living with mental health challenges.
Our goal is to provide advocacy, coordination, and community partnerships to help people STAY stably and safely housed in their communities.
